Safety & Health

At Infinity Fire Protection (IFP), we put the safety and health of our people, our clients and our communities above all else.

It is a fundamental guiding principle for everything we do.

People are the heart of our business and there is nothing more important than ensuring everyone gets to go home safely every single day. We also care deeply about our impact on the environment and the legacy we leave for future generations.

Taking a unified approach to Workplace Health & Safety, Environment & Quality (WHSEQ) across our business helps us deliver our services both safely and sustainably.

Our focus is on resilience, accountability, communication, risk management and engagement.

Underpinning our approach is the belief that each of us shares in the responsibility for the safety of our people, our projects, the environment and the communities in which we work.

Our leaders have an important role to play – continuously seeking ways to lead, demonstrate and communicate positive safety and health behaviours. They inspire and challenge their teams to continuously improve, every day and in everything that we do.

Our Employees Wellbeing:

At IFP, we want our employees to be safe, healthy and to thrive. That’s why we foster a culture which puts safety first and supports both the mental, physical and financial wellbeing of our people.

In 2016 IMEA Australia Pty Ltd – the Parent Company of Infinity Fire Protection (IFP) launched the “National Employee Assistance Program” – known as “NEAP”.  NEAP provides all employees free and confidential counselling services with experienced psychologists, for challenges such as stress, relationship issues or workplace concerns.

WHSEQ Management systems:

IFP has in place an adaptable and responsive WHSEQ management system. Our WHSEQ management system includes a range of systems, policies, procedures, work processes and tools that empowers our people to manage risk, safeguard the safety of employees, the environment and the broader community.

This also incorporates our High Hazard / High-Risk Protocols (HRPs) – the guidelines for high-risk activities that set the standard required for our workplaces when planning, managing and performing these high-risk activities.

IFP’s WHSEQ systems underpin our commitment to putting health and safety above all else.

Our approach to WHSEQ is acknowledged to be of the highest standard of quality and consistency and this inspires the confidence of our employees, our clients and all the stakeholders that we set out to protect and support.

Certification & Accreditation:

IFP’s integrated Management System has been independently certified to international safety, quality and environmental standards. These include:

AS/NZS 4801 – Occupational Health & Safety System

AS/NZS 9001 – Quality Management System

AS/NZS 14001 – Environmental Management System

IFP undertakes a rigorous annual audit process of our WHSEQ management systems to achieve re-accreditation with industry regulators and certifiers every year.
